The External Reporting team, part of the broader Corporate Reporting and MnA organization within the Chief Accounting Office, is responsible for delivering some of the most important external facing communications Intel prepares on a quarterly and annual basis: Intel's quarterly and annual reports, and earnings releases filed with the SEC.
The External Reporting PnL Manager is responsible for delivering consistent, accurate and timely presentation of financial information in 10-Qs, 10-K, earnings materials, and various event-driven filings. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strong analytical skills, technical accounting acumen, project management, a history of managing ambiguity and conflicting priorities, and the ability to excel in high-pressure and demanding environments.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$134,050.00-$189,240.00
Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Analysis and reporting of Intel's PnL and operating segment result including quickly synthesizing the key trends and drivers to tell Intel's story in externally facing communications
- Organize and coordinate the accumulation of information in support of quantitative and qualitative disclosure associated with Intel's consolidated PnL and operating segment results during financial cycles (e.g. quarter close and on ad-hoc basis)
- Analysis and controls of PnL related results
- Draft key sections of Intel's 10-K/Qs MDnA
- Review quarterly earnings presentations and earnings scripts
- Preparation of quarterly management review materials
- Preparation of quarterly Audit and Finance Committee meeting materials
- Keep Intel in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations for responsible areas
- Oversee, manage, and coach the work of two PnL Leads
- Partnering closely with key stakeholders on a quarterly basis including, Business Unit Finance, Revenue Accounting, Cost and Inventory Accounting, Investor Relations, Communications, Legal, Corp Planning, and Sr. Business Operations stakeholders to support external reporting requirements
- Partner with various business partners to support the external reporting requirements of various ad-hoc transactions, modernization projects, strategic transformational activities, etc.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Accounting/Finance with at least 8 years of experience in accounting/finance; 7+ years with a Master's degree.
- Knowledge of US GAAP/SEC reporting practices and accounting requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA and/or public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Deep business acumen of Intel and/or tech industry strongly preferred
- Ability to access, manage and analyze data, i.e., data analytics skillset
- Strong, concise communication skills (written and oral) upward to senior leadership and across organizations and in external communications (SEC filing and earnings materials)
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills to drive projects to timely completion
- Excellent analytical, research, conceptual skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems/issues, develop and implement solutions to complex problems across stakeholders
- Manage through ambiguity in complex environments while maintaining strong bias for action
- Ability to work on a fast-paced team and adapt rapidly changing situations and conditions
- Ability to drive initiatives across groups to achieve broadly defined goals and objectives
