Job Title: F5 Local Traffic Manager Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Position type: 6+ month
Rate: Market/DOE
Qualifications
experience with installation, configuration, migration and support of BIGIP F5 Local Traffic Manager Load balancers including iRules and iControl scripts on V10 and V11.
experience and knowledge of Firewall ( checkpoint and/or Cisco) rules principles and the understanding of basic operations.
experience and knowledge of basic networking principles of DNS, IP and Subnetting, the OSI 7 layers, and TCP.
experience and knowledge of network security which include understanding of common Cyber-attacks.
knowledge of infrastructure designs, installs and topologies to support internet and other data transport channels across LAN/WAN environment.
experience in providing 24x7 support in a large enterprise production and pre production environments.
Responsibilities
Manage all F5 LTM and ASM Changes in all pre Prod environments SIT, DEV, QA, PTE, Pre Prod DMZ, staging and Prod environment
Manage and support all F5 LTM and Avocent Console servers in pre-production and Production
24 X 7 support for Network , F5 LTM, Firewall , F5 ASM s ( future) and DNS updates for Pre-production and Production environments.
Basic and advanced LTM V10 and V11 iRules and iControl scripts.
Basic perl and shell scripts experience
