SUMMARY OF PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design and Installation: Oversee the installation of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components. Ability to review and understand engineering drawings.
* Maintenance and Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and develop maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
* Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Maintain production uptime by troubleshooting problems, implementing timely solutions, and suggesting GMP compliant temporary solutions.
* Project Management: Manage facility improvement projects from conception through execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
* Documentation and Compliance: Write and execute SOPs, Change Controls, QANs, CAPAs, and other GMP protocols. Maintain accurate records of facility operations and compliance documentation.
* Vendor Management: Evaluate vendor proposals and make purchase decisions, including presenting analyses for larger purchases.
* Team Collaboration: Support maintenance by creating work plans and coordinating with teams. Promote teamwork and maintain good relationships with peers.
* Safety: Ensure adherence to all relevant safety codes and regulations and wear the required safety equipment.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor"s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (required).
* 3-4 years of experience in facilities engineering.
* CPE (Certified Plant Engineer) a plus
* Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
* Basic computer and mathematical skills.
* Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS)- Niagara, Honeywell a plus
* Experience with equipment and systems related to cleanroom environments, including air filtration systems and monitoring devices for ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms.
* Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to wear required safety equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, etc.).
* Basic mechanical skills, including the use of tools and equipment.
* Autocad experience preferred.
* Knowledge of cGMP, FDA and DEA regulatory standards.
