Facilities Engineer
Location: West Caldwell, NJ. area
Start Date: ASAP!
Duration: Direct Hire
Hours: Mon-Fri; 1st shift
Degree/Experience:
- BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (required)
- 3-4 years of experience in facilities engineering
"MUST HAVES":
- Exp. w/ Building Management Systems (BMS)- Niagara, Honeywell a plus
- Exp. w/ equipment and systems related to cleanroom environments, including air filtration systems and monitoring devices for ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms
- Ability to wear required safety equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, etc.)
- Knowledge of cGMP, FDA and DEA regulatory standards
"Nice to Haves":
- Autocad experience preferred
- CPE (Certified Plant Engineer) a plus
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and develop maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations
- Oversee the installation of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components. Ability to review and understand engineering drawings
- Maintain production uptime by troubleshooting problems, implementing timely solutions, and suggesting GMP compliant temporary solutions
- Write and execute SOPs, Change Controls, QANs, CAPAs, and other GMP protocols. Maintain accurate records of facility operations and compliance documentation
- Manage facility improvement projects from conception through execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
