We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Engineer with a strong background in managing multiple projects, engineering design, and CGMP compliance. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling paperwork, managing change controls, and providing necessary documentation.
Responsibilities
The work environment includes overseeing the installation of various facility systems and conducting regular inspections. Our equipment is on the older side, and we are in the process of upgrading our facility, which provides ample room for internal growth. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of safety equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and respirators. The facility operates in compliance with CGMP standards, and the engineer will be working with Building Management Systems and cleanroom environments.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Engineer with a strong background in managing multiple projects, engineering design, and CGMP compliance. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling paperwork, managing change controls, and providing necessary documentation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
- Review and understand engineering drawings.
- Conduct regular inspections and develop maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot problems, implement timely solutions, and suggest GMP compliant temporary solutions.
- Manage facility improvement projects from conception through execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Write and execute SOPs, Change Controls, QANs, CAPAs, and other GMP protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of facility operations and compliance documentation.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and make purchase decisions, including presenting analyses for larger purchases.
- Support maintenance by creating work plans and coordinating with teams.
- Promote teamwork and maintain good relationships with peers.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety codes and regulations and wear the required safety equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-4 years of experience in facilities engineering.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), such as Niagara or Honeywell.
- Experience with equipment and systems related to cleanroom environments, including air filtration systems and monitoring devices for ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms.
- Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and DEA regulatory standards.
- Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills.
- Ability to wear required safety equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, etc.).
- CPE (Certified Plant Engineer) certification is a plus.
- Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills, including the use of tools and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent team player.
