Position Overview
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the facility, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all employees. This role involves managing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Manage a team of maintenance staff and contractors to ensure effective facility operations.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance and emergency repairs for all equipment and systems.
• Manage facility budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers for facility maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with facilities management experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, maintenance procedures, and building systems.
• Respond to urgent facilities-related issues, such as power outages, leaks, or system failures, with hands-on troubleshooting and quick resolution.
• Researches and estimates costs of facilities projects including costs for labor, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), Forklift Certification are a plus.
