Facility Manager (TS/SCI) Albuquerque, NM (on-site Kirtland AFB) Overview The Ideal Candidate will: Have facility management experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs, preferably space programs/projects, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other related systems. This opportunity allows you to support system engineering activities on a multi-contractor and government team for the Air Force Research Laboratory Space Vehicle Rapid Architecture Prototyping and Integration Development (AFRL RVEX) Branch. AFRL RVEX's mission is to ease and accelerate the efforts of the United States Space Force (USSF) to pivot to new architectures and concepts of operations described in future Force Designs based on recommendations by the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC). RAPID executes this mission three ways: Feed back (to inform SWAC analytics), Feed forward (to inform future requirements and acquisitions) and Provide Options (to expand the trade space for the future force). RAPID conducts hardware- and software-in-the-loop experimentation - to include modeling, simulation and field experiments, and integrates and exercises technologies to validate that real-world performance meets expectations. In this role, you will report directly to the Aegis RVEX Project Manager and Aegis Integrated Experiments and Evaluation Division (RVE) Business Operations Chief located at Kirtland Air Force Base (AFB) in Albuquerque, NM. **Offer of employment is contingent upon contract award** Responsibilities The candidate will: * Be responsible for leadership and management of multiple personnel to include multiple skilled technicians, a maintenance scheduler, and three facility engineers in a 24/7/365 operations environment * Plan and oversee facility O&M activities concerned with the operation, repair, maintenance, and modification of the facility/building, building systems (electrical power distribution, UPS, HVAC, chilled water, fire alarm and suppression, water, sewer, steam, etc.) to minimize interruptions and improve efficiency * Plan and manage maintenance activities including preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities as well as formulate operating rules, regulations, and procedures * Be responsible for monthly maintenance Key Performance Indicator (KPI) compliance as is contractually required * Hires, trains, and supervises building maintenance personnel * Develop and implement personnel training, qualification, and certification plans * Purchase building and maintenance supplies, machinery, equipment, and furniture * Direct contracted projects related to maintenance activities to ensure adherence to specifications, cost, and schedule * Be a key contributor in larger facility project designs, Facility System Description Documents (SDD), and the Facility Support Sustainment Plan * Manage 10+ outside contractors to perform maintenance on specific systems, to include elevators, UPS systems, energy management control systems, HVAC, power monitoring, rodent control, grease trap cleaning, etc. Create situational reports for critical equipment and develop procedures to manage system anomalies, accidents, fires, and other emergencies * Work with Safety Office to implement the Beyond Zero safety culture and empower all personnel to be safety The successful candidate will: * Be results driven * Value accountability * Have a sense of urgency to accomplish tasks in a timely manner * Be able to successfully multi-task in a dynamic environment * Have excellent written and verbal communication skills * Work well in a team environment * Have strong interpersonal/leadership skills * Have a positive, can-do attitude. * Have a strong background in engineering, operations and maintenance, management and/or manufacturing background. Basic Requirements * Must currently possess a Top Secret/ SCI DoD security clearance * Must currently possess US Citizenship. * Must have 5 years directly related experience in facility maintenance management * Must have 5 years of experience in management/leadership roles * Must have experience in operations and maintenance leadership of large, complex facilities with 24/7/365 operations * Must be familiar with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance workflow processes * Must have 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience including maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting equipment & systems (Plumbing, HVAC/R, Electrical, etc.) * Must have 2 years of facilities construction/modification experience, either hands on or from a leadership standpoint * Must have Fuel Tank Custodian experience in accordance with 377 MSG training requirements * Must have Chemical Hygiene Officer experience in accordance with AFI 90-821 * Must have Hazard Communication Program Management experience in accordance with 29 CFR 1910. 1200 * Must have Unit Safety Representative experience Desired Requirements * Have a bachelor's degree in engineering/related discipline * Have knowledge of proposals, contract, and budget practices About Aegis Aerospace We are a woman-owned space and technology company headquartered in Houston, TX.
