Facility Manager

SystImmune Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Redmond, WA, dedicated to developing groundbreaking cancer therapies through its innovative platforms for bi-specific/multi-specific antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Facilities Manager to support the daily operations of our lab and office spaces, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operations of labs and offices, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
• Lead lab and office renovation projects, including design coordination, contractor selection, and timeline/budget management.
• Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure renovations meet scientific, operational, and compliance needs.
• Oversee moves, expansions, and reconfigurations to optimize space for company growth.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and calibrations of lab infrastructure.
• Work with Lab Manager and IT to implement projects related to facility management.
• Support safety compliance (OSHA, EPA, biosafety protocols with HSC) and lead emergency preparedness (fire drills, etc.).
• Serve as a primary point of contact for all buildings' respective property management companies and agents
• Support alignment of lease terms, amendments, and facility-related negotiations with operational requirements (e.g. maintenance, upgrades, or compliance issues)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facility management experience, preferably in biotech, pharma, or a high-compliance lab environment.
• Proven experience managing new lab design, renovations, contractor work, and space build-outs.
• GxP facility experience is required
• Strong negotiation and communication skills for dealing with landlords, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of lab safety standards
• Ability to read floor plans, manage budgets, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
