As the facility medical director (FMD) of this hospital system, you will report directly to the regional medical director and vice president of operations and will be responsible for the oversight of a growing team of physicians and advance practice clinicians. You will also be responsible for developing and sustaining relationships, impacting clinical strategies and workflows that promote practice, patient satisfaction and improve value-based healthcare delivery.
Our FMD will be a result-oriented, strategic leader with leader with a passion for high-quality patient care, ED process improvement, and providing access to healthcare to the community. To help with your success, in addition collaborating with senior leadership you will receive support from our administrative departments to include - billing/coding, clinical documentation, human resources, credentialing/medical staff, patient safety and risk management, payroll, provider enrollment, recruitment, and scheduling.

Serving northern Horry County (SC) and southern Brunswick County (NC), McLeod Health Seacoast has 155 patient beds, 24 bed Emergency Department serving approximately 30,000 high-acuity patients annually. We offer comprehensive outpatient and inpatient surgical services along with the outpatient testing department provides radiology, laboratory, rehabilitation, pharmacy, respiratory and medical nutrition therapy services.
