Factory Automation Sales Applications Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic Factory Automation Sales Applications Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Salary: Up to $125,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers and engineers to tailor solutions to complex automation challenges.
  • Produce and review engineering drawings essential for development processes.
  • Lead engineering design review sessions to ensure alignment and coherence amongst team members.
  • Negotiate with vendors for cost-effective resources, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Develop customer-specific pricing and create detailed, profitable sales proposals.
  • Engage in both domestic and international travel to client sites, providing direct support and fostering relationships.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in engineering or related field.
  • At least three years of sales application engineering experience in an industrial setting.
  • Minimum of one-year hands-on experience with industrial robotic automation.
  • Strong foundation in robotic welding systems and applications.
  • Knowledge of electric motors, servo systems, and their applications in automation.
  • Proficient with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Ability to travel as required for project needs.
  • Solid work history demonstrating reliability and commitment to previous engagements.
  • Must be a United States citizen or hold a valid Green Card.
  • Resides within a 45-minute drive of the Pewaukee, Wisconsin area.
