Essential functions (job duties):
We are searching for an experienced Faculty - Rank to be Determined at our Detroit campus location. Wayne State University is a premier, public, urban research university located in the heart of Detroit where students from all backgrounds are offered a rich, high quality education.
Essential Functions:
The physician will participate in the teaching program of medical students, residents and fellows of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Participate in scholarly activities in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Administrative duties as assigned.
Unique duties:
Participate in scholarly activities in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery. Administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Physician must have a MD degree, board certified or board eligible by ABOG in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Physician must be fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery. Experience and dedication to academic medicine desired. Valid Michigan Medical License required. Proficiency in minimally invasive gynecological surgery required. Rank commensuratewith credentials.
