You must have 5+ years of experience will assume an immediate key role in highly diversified family law and fiduciary litigation matters.

You must have 5+ years of experience will assume an immediate key role in highly diversified family law and fiduciary litigation matters.
Candidate must possess:
- Experience drafting basic pleadings, discovery requests and responses, including objections and substantive responses collected from clients, and drafting and serving subpoenas with attorney supervision and guidance.
- Substantive experience organizing, maintaining, and reviewing documents from clients, opposing parties, and third parties for use in discovery, depositions, witness preparation, and trial.
- Experience with performing privilege review of client documents and creation of privilege logs.
- Experience with analyzing document productions and ability to create deficiency charts and analysis, including for drafting discovery deficiency letters.
- Substantive experience with exhibit preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials, in addition to preparing other trial materials, and courtroom presentation/support.
- Ability to conduct witness interviews and summarize key information thoroughly for attorney review.
- Experience with docketing, calculating response deadlines (for example, for discovery responses, motions, and subpoena productions), and updating attorneys' calendars in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with Maryland and D.C. rules and procedures, and/or ability to proactively learn same.
- Knowledge and experience with electronic filing (MDEC and CaseFileXpress) in Maryland and D.C.
- A bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant litigation paralegal experience. Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and court rules related to litigation.
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills, and interpersonal skills, including professionalism when speaking with clients.
- Outstanding organization and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and the ability to take the initiative necessary to accomplish tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently and thoroughly with time-sensitive projects and deadlines, adaptability to changing priorities and demands, and ability to manage workloads and deadlines for multiple attorneys at one time.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management software, and able to effectively use other litigation software.
- Proven legal research skills; proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis or Westlaw.
