The Premier Medical Plaza is currently seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join their growing practice in High Point, NC. The Premier Medical Plaza is located in the state-of-the-art Premier Medical Plaza in northern High Point, near Greensboro, designed for the comfort and convenience of our patients. Premier a 128,000 square foot outpatient medical facility, featuring primary care and specialty physician practices, imaging and laboratory services, an outpatient surgery suite and a classroom.
The Premier Medical Plaza is a great location to practice family medicine, with specialists at your fingertips, and a Convenience Care Clinic offering same day appointments for your patient's acute care needs. There is a well-regarded pediatric practice in the Premier Medical Plaza, therefore there are minimal pediatric patients at Premier Family Medicine. There is potential for occupational medicine and worker's compensation work at Premier Family Medicine, as this practice is contracted with local aircraft industry.
JOB SUMMARY:
Physicians work to care for patients in a variety of ways, from treating chronic illnesses to advising about preventative healthcare. While physician specialties might vary, the commonality across specialties is that physicians primarily work to diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses. They often do this by performing physical exams, taking medical histories, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, and recommending a plan of treatment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- M.D. from an accredited medical school. Successful completion of residency and at an accredited healthcare institution.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
- Current M.D. or D.O. license from the State of North Carolina.
- Board certification in primary care or related field from said residency.
- Certification in BCLS, ACLS required if stress tests performed or as required by specialty.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.

- Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with a half-day off
