HealthSource of Ohio, Inc. has an opening for a Family Medicine Physician in New Richmond, OH.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and injuries in children and adult patients in an outpatient setting;
• Examine patients to regularly assess their health;
• Review patient medical care history and physical condition;
• Monitor patients' condition and progress and re-evaluate treatments, as necessary;
• Examine patients using medical instruments and equipment, order and execute various tests, analysis and diagnostic images to provide information on patients' conditions;
• Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination;
• Provide medical diagnoses;
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and parents or guardians;
• Administer vaccinations and provide preventative healthcare;
• Educate and teach caregivers and patients about proper healthcare such as hygiene, nutrition, activity, and disease prevention;
• Administer or prescribe treatments and drugs and render other medical care to patients; and
• Provide oversight and training of nurses, nursing students and other healthcare professionals as it relates to patient care.

Required:

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent);
• Unrestricted Ohio Medical License;
• Graduate of accredited Family Medicine residency program;
• Unrestricted DEA registration; and
• Family Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Schedule: Monday - Friday. On call: 1 night every 4 nights; 1 weekend every 14 weekends.
