Description
The Family Office Advisor is responsible for serving multi-generational high net worth families in the areas of financial, estate and investment planning. The Family Office Advisor understands the unique service model in serving high net worth families and the importance of guiding a family in the transfer of financial, social and spiritual capital. The Advisor is able to provide biblical counsel and insight in serving the needs of the "Family Business" and the "Business of the Family".
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Serves as the secondary interface (trusted advisor) between the organization and the client and has responsibility for building trust, credibility and confidence in family relationships including relationships across multiple generations of family members.
2. Approaches client relationships in a manner that demonstrates maturity and judgment, sensitivity to the highly personalized and discreet nature of working with multiple generations, and respect for the clients' privacy while understanding the global impact of issues generationally.
3. Utilizes strong relationship and listening skills in working with clients and understands the differences in communication styles and preferences among the various family members.
4. Approaches client meetings and communications with self-confidence in a manner that engenders confidence of all family constituents being served.
5. Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, in a manner that represents the division well and in accordance with the highest business standards.
6. Proactively communicates with family members by scheduling face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails to keep the family informed on all pertinent financial information and to help the family with intentionally planning for the equipping and training of the next generation.
7. Demonstrates the ability to apply experience and knowledge in all areas of wealth management (financial and tax planning, traditional and alternative investment planning, risk management, philanthropy, banking, legal and administration and trust and estate planning, etc.).
8. Helps the family establish goals, identify family values and plan for the transfer of their financial, spiritual and social capital to succeeding generations.
9. Possesses maturity, life experience and insight into both investor psychology and family relationship dynamics and is able to impart wisdom and biblical insight to a wide variety of financial and life situations.
10. Seeks to continually increase knowledge of the financial planning philosophy and biblical principles upon which Ronald Blue Trust serves its client base through learning associated scripture memory verses in order to integrate RBT's philosophy into client counsel and services.
11. Approaches work, interactions and relationships in a manner consistent with the Company's Core Values
12. Maintains the highest Compliance standards by adhering to the company's Human Resources guidelines, Compliance policies and procedures, professional designation standards, and industry's regulatory standards to mitigate risk to the company.

Requirements
- Successful completion of Company's Advisor Test.
- Strong financial, investment and business acumen.
- Proven track record of serving multi generational families.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of those portions of both the old and new testaments of the Bible with scriptural references to money and finances, and ability to apply and integrate this knowledge into all phases of client counsel.
- Prior experience working with ultra-high net worth clients and multiple generations.
- Proven track record of serving and maintaining long term client relationships.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- Undergraduate degree required: advanced degree preferred (i.e. MBA, JD);
- A minimum of five to ten (5-10) years' prior experience in a Family Office, Multi Family Office or Trust environment
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:
- CPA, CFP, CFA or JD required
