Description:
- Responsible for managing all feed mill operations including scale house, receiving, control room, dispatch, inventory, clerical, purchasing, etc.
- Ensure quality of feed and manage efficiencies.
- Implement and enforce all SOP, training and development of team members.
- Responsible for team members complying with company policies, FSMA regulations, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
- Provide technical knowledge to your team, implementing ways to maximize throughput and performance.
- Mentor, coach, train and cross-train mill members and encourage career development.
- Manage and work to improve transportation methods and equipment performance.
- All other relevant duties of the job.
- Bachelor Degree of Science in feed, poultry or other related field of study preferred.
- 10+ years milling experience, and animal feed operations required.
- 8+ years leadership, management and interpersonal skills required.
