Position Purpose

The Finance Manager is responsible for the timely completion, review and verification of all financing documents required to complete sales of New and Pre-owned vehicles and the final backstop in the deal process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Processes financing documents in a timely and accurate manner for all sales transactions performed at the assigned dealership.
  • Receipt in all sources of down payment funds and provide a receipt to customer.
  • Count all cash with another manager present at all times.
  • Properly discloses financial information to customers and processes all paperwork in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Establishes and manages banking and lender relationships that result in competitive interest rates for all vehicle sales and leases.
  • Takes reasonable steps and efforts to prevent identity theft from occurring prior to the delivery of a vehicle.
  • Monitors performance and supports the sales team.
  • Sells finance and insurance programs to New and Pre-owned vehicle customers.
  • Sells vehicle service contracts and aftermarket products such as Lojack, GAP, etc.
  • Provides sales staff and Sales Managers with current information and training about financing and lease programs.
  • Validates all BMWFS & BMWNA programs and incentives/rebates to ensure eligibility.
  • Explains financing documents, extended warranties, manufacturers, and dealership service procedures and policies to customers to increase their understanding of the sales transaction, protections, and services available.
  • Communicates with Business Office daily regarding schedules on warranties;
  • Manage Contracts in Transit to less than five days and funding on Dealer Track and Infobahn
  • Daily funding updates in Reverse Risk
  • Daily Input of all BMW warranties in designated product platforms
  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete
  • Meets or exceeds monthly forecasted per vehicle retail average.
  • Meets or exceeds all sales and customer satisfaction goals established.
  • Maintain an adequate and current supply of all required contracts, vouchers, receipt books, temporary vehicle paper plates, and paperwork needed for completion and finalization of car deals.
  • Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner
  • Must maintain accurate attendance records "clocking in and out".
  • Adhere to work schedule and arrive at work before your scheduled start time and be at your work station productively engaged by the scheduled time.
  • Complies with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety and personal protection equipment as required.
  • Adhere to established dress code policy at all times.
  • Safeguard customer and Dealer information per established policy.
  • Exemplifies organizational culture and holds others in department accountable for doing the same.
  • Accomplishes all current and future tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
  • Other related duties may be assigned.
