COMMUNITY THERAPY SUPERVISOR (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, experienced LMSW)
Bronx - Full-time
University Behavioral Associates (UBA) at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York is seeking a masters or doctoral level clinician (Licensed or Limited Permit Psychologist, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) to serve as a Supervisor for the community-based Multisystemic Therapy for Prevention (MST-PREV) program. This program is funded by the NYC Administration for Children's Services (ACS). More information on this treatment model can be found at: www.mstservices.com and www.cmocares.org
This community based, family centered program works closely with parents, children, and providers (including ACS) in order to ensure a strong, effective collaboration that supports families in focusing on child safety and well-being.
The Supervisor will be responsible for conducting group and individual supervision to promote client engagement and positive outcomes, providing direct clinical training to therapists, reviewing therapist assessments and treatment plans, ensuring all documentation is consistent with MST-PREV and ACS requirements, participating in MST training, supervision, and consultation activities, and providing periodic on-call 24-hour coverage. The preferred candidate will have demonstrated clinical experience with adolescents and/or families, and with providing behaviorally-based treatments, as well as excellent management skills and strong organizational ability. Spanish-speaking a plus. Supervisors will receive training in MST-PREV.
