Annual Salary of $80-$90k
Primary Responsibility:
The Field Maintenance Lead oversees the facilities industrial mechanics and ensures that the maintenance program is operating in an efficient manner and helps identify those items which need improvement or repair. The Field Maintenance Lead works with all employees to assure plant facilities and equipment are always maintained in a safe and efficient operating condition.
Essential Functions:
Plans, organizes and evaluates the work of assigned staff. With staff, develops, implements and monitors work plans to achieve goals and objectives. Provides day-to-day leadership and works with staff to ensure a high performance, to achieve the department's mission, objectives, and values. Confers with and advises staff regarding system needs and requirements. Reviews and coordinates with appropriate personnel on the implementation of local, state and federal laws and regulations. Directs the scheduled and emergency installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of the plant's equipment Work directly with the operations department to ensure operational needs are met. Supervises contractors on site to ensure their safety and quality of work Ensures facility is maintained in a clean, orderly, and safe condition Complete other tasks as requested
Qualifications
Qualifications/Additional Skills:
High School Diploma and five (5) years of experience in industrial/municipal plant maintenance/operations.

Qualifications/Additional Skills:
High School Diploma and five (5) years of experience in industrial/municipal plant maintenance/operations.
Knowledge of:
- Principles, methods, practices, techniques and equipment common to the operation of a large industrial/municipal plant
- Administrative principles and methods including goal setting, program development and implementation.
- Safety regulations, safe work practices and safety equipment
- Computer applications (ie. Microsoft Office, CMMS, SCADA)
- Principles and practices of preventative, predictive and reliability centered maintenance systems.
- Office and records management practices and procedures
- Principles and practices of sound business communication
Ability to:
- Plan, assign, direct and coordinate variety of functional specialties with overlapping work areas
- Manage and direct a large industrial maintenance program
- Select, motivate and evaluate staff and provide for their training and development
- Evaluate alternatives and recommend or implement effective course of action
- Define and explain key processes and process requirements within the department
- Ensure department goals and objectives are aligned with other departments
