What You'll Do
As a Field Training Manager, you will:
- Participate in routine sales and management teleconferences which typically focus on a wide array of sales issues, sales performance, sales management, sales & clinical education effective sales skill development.
- Assist in or lead sales and clinical training programs, modules, and workshops to advance the effectiveness of the Company's sales network, and to satisfy customer training requirements.
- Mentor and develop additional field trainers as added.
- Assist in or deliver and lead training programs at sales meetings, as needed.
What You'll Need
- Advanced degree in Business or Science field with 5+ years of years of medical sales and/or medical sales training experience or a closely related discipline preferred.
- An ability to develop or source highly effective training material and programs for Sales Representatives, the Distribution Network and Sales Managers regarding:
o Customer value proposition satisfaction and competitive positioning
o The importance of Needs and Solution-centric selling techniques
o Strategic and tactical territory planning
o Sales funnel management
o Key Account Management
o Key Opinion Leader referral and development
o Selling into clinical and other validated/regulated markets
- Experience working with a variety of training methodologies and media.
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently to meet project requirements with minimal
supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, manage, and communicate at a high level.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment, in an organized manner, while meeting deadlines.
- Analytical ability to identify and think through all issues to determine their impacts on the business.
- Strong understanding of market research techniques and ability to draw conclusions from the data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to summarize complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent poise and confidence when interacting with sales, physicians, patients, hospital administrators, and sales staff.
