SUMMARY
The Final Assembly Production Supervisor will play a vital role in overseeing the final assembly process of small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) and a team of Final Assembly Technicians, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

SUMMARY
The Final Assembly Production Supervisor will play a vital role in overseeing the final assembly process of small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) and a team of Final Assembly Technicians, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
- Supervise and lead the final assembly team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Monitor the assembly process, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Implement and uphold quality assurance protocols, conducting inspections and audits to identify and rectify any issues.
- Train new hires and existing team members on assembly techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Work closely with engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to facilitate smooth operations and address any challenges.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements, implementing best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, incidents, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Promote a culture of safety, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
- Travel required at start of employment for training.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in a production environment, preferably in aerospace and defense.
- Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing or assembly operations.
- Strong understanding of assembly processes and quality control methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
- Familiarity with sUAS technology and components is preferred.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
- Experience with regulatory compliance in aerospace and defense sectors is preferred.
