We are looking for a Finance Analyst in Wendell, North Carolina, which is part of the Wake County; located in the thriving Research Triangle area just 18 miles from downtown Raleigh, the state capital.
Spanning 272,000 square feet, this facility has been a cornerstone of Siemens' operations since the early 1980s and serves as the US headquarters for Siemens' Electrification and Automation (EA) business. The facility produces state-of-the-art medium-voltage switchgear and circuit breakers, low-voltage motor control centers and switchboards, as well as replacement circuit breakers for switchgear modernization.
In the business and performance controlling team of our plant, you are actively involved in determining and analyzing the key business data and control variables, such as leading and lagging factors, to shape our future by supporting the decision-making process in various aspects:
Determine and analyze key business data essential for financial control and ensure accurate monthly reporting.
Develop ad-hoc business evaluations, analyses, and forecast scenarios.
Contribute to monthly and annual financial statements by conducting variance analyses and presenting actionable recommendations.
Collaborate on budgeting processes for the upcoming financial year.
Lead the continuous development, enhancement, and automation of controlling processes.
Serve as the commercial key account, working closely with various departments and business areas.

Prior professional experience in a similar role is preferred.
Strong IT aptitude with an appreciation for low-code applications, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic SAP experience, providing a solid foundation for further development.
Passion for driving digitalization and automation initiatives, serving as a catalyst for change and process optimization.
Ability to analyze complex issues and communicate them clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
A solutions-oriented approach with a keen attention to detail and precision.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Management or other degrees which align with the role
Excel, PowerPoint and SAP proficiency required
3+ years of experience in product costing and financial analysis
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing setting
You have successfully completed your master's degree in business administration, business management or any comparable qualification.
Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must have excellent written & oral communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively across various functional departments and levels of management

The pay range for this position is $60,340 - $103,440. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
