Your role
Position Summary:
As a Senior Finance Manager, the Finance Business Partner will provide subject matter expertise and advice to the operations leadership team of the North America region, covering eight factories located in the US and Canada. As a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, this individual will provide data-driven insights to support cost efficiency and deliver short and long-term strategic goals.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines;
At least five years of accounting, audit, operations and/or finance experience. Must have the ability to interpret income statements and to perform return on investment calculations. Financial planning and analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Skills & Abilities:
Fluent in spoken and written English
Strong financial acumen and advanced analytical skills to simplify and present complex topics effectively.
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, drive change and influence decision making across all levels of the organization
Proactive, adaptable and able to balance high level strategy with operational details.
Advanced PowerPoint skills, SAP and/or MicroStrategy knowledge are a plus.
Experience in the food industry is highly desirable, either in food manufacturers or in CPGs.

Your role

About you
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations Controlling
- Drive the KPI/target setting process for the operations team, such as waste, asset utilization, inventory levels and cost centre expenditure
- Actively participate in cost saving projects
- Support business plans associated with new capital requests
- Works closely with the head of operations on internal business reviews, plant meetings or any special project upon request
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Leads cost forecasting, tracking and reporting with relevant risks & opportunities
- Manages cost centres budget, allocation and tracks actual spend
- Develops and maintain reports / dashboards with the objective of increasing visibility/awareness of operational efficiency and cost control
- Special projects as requested by senior management
