We are looking for a Finance Manager to support the Amazon Pharmacy Storefront Team in close partnership with the Amazon Healthcare Services Central Marketing Team. This role will focus on new customers, a key growth driver for Amazon Pharmacy! We are looking for a strategic and operationally-minded leader with a business partner mindset, who is not afraid of ambiguity and challenges the status quo. Individuals in this role have advancement opportunities to support different businesses and multifunctional teams, to lead new programs and initiatives, and to partner with many internal stakeholders within the company. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Pharmacy leadership, including financial modeling, building and proposing ideas for the new customer experience, dealing with ambiguous problem statements, and leveraging minimal or proxy data to make critical business decisions timely to constantly improve the experience based on direct customer feedback and research. The successful individual in this role will be strategic, analytical, and have demonstrated the ability to work cross-functionally across workstreams outside of just Finance, while influencing leaders through thorough deep dives and idea proposals.
Key job responsibilities
Build meaningful partnership with Product, Tech, and Operations leaders within both the Storefront Finance Team and the AHS Central Marketing Team to develop features that best address customer needs, while growing a profitable Pharmacy business.
Building net-new metrics to track, measure, and assess the performance of new and existing product features to inform forward-looking roadmap.
Develop a reproduceable and repeatable mechanisms that can be used across workstreams and use cases to best measure the impact of features to customers and the business.
Autonomously design and drive deep dives that help surface new gaps in the business that require attention to change or fill current experience in order to improve performance.
Write and present docs to Pharmacy and Finance leadership outlining key findings and recommendations for the business.
Drive and contribute to the Growth MBR and all annual and quarterly planning cycles, by appropriately accounting for product and tech innovation in financial forecasts.

This is a highly visible role within the finance team and requires a strong leader and open communicator. You will have a direct impact on our top and bottom line with the ability to deliver improvements for our teams.
About the team
The Growth Finance Team's purpose is two-fold: to support the Amazon Pharmacy Storefront Team and to own Amazon Pharmacy topline. The team comprises four members (manager +3); and owns topline planning/reporting and the Growth MBR (audience is APS VP and the AP Leadership Team). Additionally, this role works closely with AHS Central Marketing Finance and Business and APS FP&A.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
