We're looking for a Financial Analyst IV to join our Corporate Treasury team. In this role, you'll support Principal Financial Group's capital and liquidity management! This role will have a variety of responsibilities including:

Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range
$86450 - $125400 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This role offers in-office, and hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) work arrangements in our Des Moines, IA office. You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.

We're looking for a Financial Analyst IV to join our Corporate Treasury team. In this role, you'll support Principal Financial Group's capital and liquidity management! This role will have a variety of responsibilities including:
- Supporting the company's Funding Agreement Backed Note and Holding Company debt programs
- Building and maintaining relationships with investment banking partners
- Collaborating with internal business partners on cash and capital forecasting and execution
- Research, analyze, and communicate current cash positions and expected cash flows. Proactively identify and communicate liquidity concerns and make recommendations to address concerns and constraints.
- Executing and reporting on Corporate Treasury's FX hedging program
- Representing Treasury in enterprise initiatives
- Performing other Treasury-related duties and projects as needed

Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in math, actuarial science, finance or related field with a 4+ years of relevant financial experience preferred
- Fundamental understanding of capital markets
- Self-motivated with excellent problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills required, with the ability to effectively communicate with all internal and external partners
- Ability to frame issues, options and solutions using financial data for business decision-making
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, detailed, and deadline-oriented environment
- Strong MS Excel skills with experience including macros, pivot tables, creating tables, v lookups, comparing data, etc.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI
- CFA designation or progress towards
