Summary:
The Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving manufacturing and financial analytics. The role will partner with the operations organization to analyze manufacturing costs, review inventory variances, as well as supporting plant processes. They will also work with the Sr. Leadership team to optimize manufacturing yields and customer profitability.
Pay Range: $80,000-$95,000 annually

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving manufacturing and financial analytics. The role will partner with the operations organization to analyze manufacturing costs, review inventory variances, as well as supporting plant processes. They will also work with the Sr. Leadership team to optimize manufacturing yields and customer profitability.
Pay Range: $80,000-$95,000 annually
Primary Duties:
- Analyze product costs, to ensure accurate and effective utilization of materials and manufacturing resources
- Key member of budget process, specifically focusing on product cost and manufacturing efficiency
- Monitor and analyze plant manufacturing efficiency
- Work with executive leadership to identify cost saving opportunities and support customer profitability initiatives.
- Monitor inventory balances to support more accurate variance analysis
- Maintain inventory item master attributes, including standard costs and bill of materials
- Assist the Finance Manager with inventory verification and closing of year end information, including audit and tax processing
- Coordination of cycle count process, investigate cycle counting variances, resolve issues
- Lead process improvement activities in support of inventory and manufacturing
- Support digital transformation initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and streamline processes, ultimately improving reporting and analytical capabilities
Qualifications:
- 4 year college degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- 2+ years of finance or accounting in a manufacturing industry
- CMA and/or CPA a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Knowledge of visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau Preferred
- Some Travel Required
