Position Summary
The Financial Analyst assists with spear-heading the Company's monthly financial reports, quarterly forecast, and special projects. The employee provides financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including assistance in preparing board presentations, financial presentations and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support 'optimal' business decision making. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, the Financial Analyst will have the following responsibilities and qualifications.

This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support 'optimal' business decision making. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, the Financial Analyst will have the following responsibilities and qualifications.
Essential Functions
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Monitor financial performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
- Assist in overseeing and managing the continued development of financial forecasting, operating plan and modeling tools.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.
- Monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Assist in development of financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- Support executive management team and department heads with in-depth analysis.
- Assist in preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and senior management team.
- Support accounting & finance teams with month & year end accruals, allocations, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and vendor payment validation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA/CPA/CPA- eligible preferred
- 4+ years' experience in finance/accounting
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong analytic skills required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. NetSuite experience desirable
- Detail oriented; highly organized
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated
- Ability to manage high level of workload and meet deadlines
Working Conditions
- Routinely there may be some minor physical inconveniences or discomforts in the work setting, including sitting for moderate periods of time
- Must be able to utilize office equipment, computer, keyboard, and phone with or without assistive devices
- Repetitive wrist motion and occasional lifting/carrying of up to 25 pounds
