Financial Analyst

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Surety team in our Surrey office. You will collaborate with Account Manager(s)/Bond Processor(s) regarding the client's needs and recommend solutions with respect to bond facility term and rates. This position requires a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high paced environment. Wilson M. What You Will Do:

• You will build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and underwriters to ensure seamless delivery of surety solutions.
• You will assess and analyze clients' financial statements and business performance to determine surety bonding capacity.
• You will develop customized surety programs that align with clients' financial and operational needs.
• You will negotiate terms and conditions with underwriters to secure the most favorable outcomes for clients.
• You will stay informed of market trends and regulatory changes impacting the surety and financial sectors.
• You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and meet organizational goals.

Who You Are:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in surety underwriting or account management.
• A background in financial analysis, preferably with a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Professional designations such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are an asset.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit assessment.
• Strong understanding of the surety market, products, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Compensation:

• The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 to 135,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope, and level.
