Description:
We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Surety team in our Surrey office. You will collaborate with Account Manager(s)/Bond Processor(s) regarding the client's needs and recommend solutions with respect to bond facility term and rates. This position requires a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high paced environment. Wilson M. What You Will Do:
- You will build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and underwriters to ensure seamless delivery of surety solutions.
- You will assess and analyze clients' financial statements and business performance to determine surety bonding capacity.
- You will develop customized surety programs that align with clients' financial and operational needs.
- You will negotiate terms and conditions with underwriters to secure the most favorable outcomes for clients.
- You will stay informed of market trends and regulatory changes impacting the surety and financial sectors.
- You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and meet organizational goals.
Who You Are:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in surety underwriting or account management.
- A background in financial analysis, preferably with a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Professional designations such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are an asset.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit assessment.
- Strong understanding of the surety market, products, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Compensation:
- The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 to 135,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope, and level.
