We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will play a critical part in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and will partner with various departments to ensure alignment on business objectives. The Financial Analyst is an individual contributor and reports to the FP&A Manager.
Responsibilities:
Support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes across multiple departments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals relating to opex
Become day-to-day finance partner to various functions by providing overall budget support, resolution to budget questions, reviewing PO requests and suggested spend, and ensuring contracts are aligned with plan
Conduct risk and opportunity analyses, identifying financial trends and potential impacts to the business
Support and work closely with Accounting on month-end close activities, including preparation and posting of accruals, variance analysis, and reporting (including P&L analysis and cash forecasts)
Prepare and maintain detailed financial models to support forecasting, planning, and ad hoc scenario analyses
Analyze financial and operational data to provide actionable insights and support strategic initiatives
Prepare management reports and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders
Continuously improve and automate FP&A processes, tools, and templates for scalability and efficiency
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and refine promotional forecasting and planning strategies, including ROI analysis and support the revenue team with ad hoc projects
Collaborate across finance organization to support broader team priorities and organizational goals and serve as a resource to other finance functions as needed
Fulfill ad hoc data, analysis, and decision support requests

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance or evidence of quantitative and analytical ability
- 5+ years of experience in a financial, quantitative, or analytical role
- Experience in SAP, Adaptive Planning (or similar planning tool), and Apptio is a plus
- Very strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables and charts)
- Comfort with large datasets and gaining insights
- Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with different departments
- Must have outstanding attention to detail and strong time/project management ability
