JOB SUMMARY:

Analyzes and forecasts the Club's financial performance, oversees the fixed asset reporting and tracking, and manages capital project tracking and reporting as well co-leading regular capital project review meetings. This position is on site and is not eligible for relocation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES and other duties as may be assigned related to this position.

Meets monthly with department managers on budget/forecast variance reporting and analysis. Produces variance reporting for monthly Finance Committee packet.

Maintains procedures and computer application systems necessary to properly forecast financial performance and creates management reporting on current forecast and performance to forecasts.

Leads with a continuous process improvement mindset working with all departments on improvements in their processes, cost savings opportunities and revenue generating ideas.

Participates in regular business strategy meetings with key departments.

Leads document management process to include implementation of contract & license management processes and software as well as electronic document approval and storage policies and procedures.

Maintains fixed asset ledgers and prepares depreciation schedules for monthly entries.

Participates with Purchasing department to perform four physical inventories per year.

Monitors and reports on open purchase orders and reconciles with the purchasing Department any outstanding invoices. Uses this information in forecasting future expenditures and department performance.

Assists with the completion of the annual capital and operational budgets.

Assists with the month end closing procedures and financials.

Identifies and analyzes operational issues impacting functional groups and the whole Club and determines their financial impact. Develops mitigation plans with department managers to lessen financial impacts.

Participates in annual audit by the Club's CPA firm.

Maintains capital asset binders and reports on project statuses monthly. Coordinates with each responsible project manager to ensure project completion is timely and on budget. Organizes monthly capital review meetings and prepares monthly capital expenditures report.

Cross trained in AP, AR and income audit.

Maintains professional appearance on property and at off property work related events, conferences and trainings.
