Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with excellent analytical and communication skills to execute the duties of a senior financial management analyst supporting the Chief Financial Officer for Assured Access to Space.
Responsibilities
- Maximize program execution and present budget results and data to senior leadership
- Advise senior leadership of budget propriety, new start implications and compliance with other legal and DoD regulatory guidance
- Prepare response strategies to avoid potential budget cuts; may require revisions to budget allocations and reprogramming actions
Skills Required
- A minimum nine (9) years of DoD Acquisition Financial Management and or Budget Analysis experience to include a minimum of 5 years working in a space program environment.
- Launch and Range acquisition and execution experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with DTM 09-025 Space Systems Acquisition Policy (SSAP), DoD Instruction 5000.02, the DoD FMR and applicable Air Force & Space Force Instructions
- Extensive knowledge of the DoD acquisition process, budget planning, formulation, programming, justification documentation/reporting, program documentation development (Program Management Directive, Program Management Plan, acquisition plans, and requests for proposals) and program reporting (Monthly Acquisition Report, Selected Acquisition Report, Defense Acquisition Executive Summary)
- Experience with the following tools and systems: FM-Suite, CCaR, Wide Area Workflow, myInvoice, GAFS, MOCAS, PMRT, IDECS, CRIS, PIEE, DEAMS, ADVANA, PowerBI, and Excel
- Familiarity with the National Intelligence Community budget cycle is a plus
- Masters degree in math, Business/Economics, finance, accounting, engineering, or statistics
- Secret Clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required
Education
Bachelors degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
