Your role
The Financial Planning Platform Manager role is part of a team responsible for managing a multi-tier Financial Planning platform. The role will report to the Lead Product Manager and will be responsible for driving the development and enhancement of the financial planning tools and platforms available at UBS. In addition, they will act as a product manager for these offerings and work with partners across the firm and Financial Advisors to drive a planning culture at UBS.
We're looking for a Financial Planning Platform Manager to:
Enhance internal and digital financial planning capabilities to support the wealth planning needs of clients and advisors.
Keep up to date and periodically assess industry vendor-based financial planning offerings and apply that knowledge to enhance UBS's offerings
Assist with releasing enhancements to financial planning tools
o Work with vendors and technology partners to prioritize and design enhancements
o Develop expertise on new enhancements to functionality and user experience
o Navigate application implementation with IT partners and vendors
o Communicate enhancements and provide training to financial advisors and clients
Articulate the value of financial planning and assist in developing educational and training content for field users
Design and implement compliance and supervisory processes relating to financial planning as needed
Provide 2nd level support of more complex inquiries from financial advisors and their teams regarding the platforms
Your team
You will be working on the Financial Planning Platform team in Weehawken, NJ. This team consists of financial planning product managers focused on integrating the Wealth Planning needs of clients and financial advisors into a strategically focused delivery of best-in-class Financial Planning solutions.

Your expertise
Have experience using financial planning platforms by either managing a platform, delivering financial planning to clients, or supporting advisors providing financial planning
Have a background in modeling, presenting or supporting financial planning concepts including cashflow analysis, probabilistic modeling, income taxes, estate planning, insurance and employer awards
Have an interest in keeping up to date on the financial planning industry and understanding features, methodologies and calculations within financial planning platforms
Possess strong communication (oral and written) skills required to effectively communicate with a range of audiences including clients, Financial Advisors, other internal partners, etc.
Have strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Have the ability to work autonomously and be detailed oriented
Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
A team player, willing to contribute to, learn from and to challenge yourself and others
Enthusiastic about helping clients through advice-based conversations and capabilities
Preferably you also have:
CFP (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER) designation preferred
Series 7 & Series 66 licensed preferred
