Description:
Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for US GAAP compliance, financial reporting, audit coordination and best practice procedures. This role requires a strong emphasis on technical skills, with a focus on reporting. A CPA is highly preferred. The Financial Reporting Manager will be involved in most aspects of the global controllership function and will work closely with the rest of the senior finance leadership team. This position is located at the Greenville, SC headquarters, requiring 4 days a week in the office with 1 day remote.

Finance and Accounting Leadership:
- Be well-versed in accounting principles and the operational application of them in real-world scenarios.
- Have a solid foundation in accounting, internal controls, and audit.
- Ensure the business is compliant with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Understand key business risks and internal control framework to focus efforts and improve processes.
- Develop a solid understanding of the financial statements and prepare analysis and commentary.
- Function as a liaison with auditors.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements, including necessary journal entries.
- Assist in monthly and quarterly account reconciliations.
- Prepare, analyze, and report on financial statements and other key financial metrics.
- Create detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to meet business needs.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
- Support ad hoc analysis requests.
Leadership:
- Leverage the strengths of the current finance team members.
- Help to clarify roles and responsibilities.
- Develop and implement training programs to maximize and reach optimal individual and organizational goals.
- Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the enterprise; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
- Exhibit personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and unwavering commitment.
Qualifications:
- This is an extraordinary opportunity for a mature leader with 8+ years of accounting and finance experience, ideally beginning in accounting and audit, followed by experience gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to executive teams and external stakeholders.
- Minimum of a BA in Accounting.
- Public accounting experience and CPA highly preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Solid, current knowledge of GAAP. Experience with ASC 606 is a plus.
- Experience with manufacturing and/or global company with multiple sites and currencies is a plus.
Compensation
