About the Role:
- As a key member of our Financial Planning, Analysis & Consulting (FPAC) team, you will collaborate with leaders across the company to ensure accurate accounting and reporting. You will spearhead process improvements, manage successful projects, and become a go-to expert in our internal systems.
Location:Hooksett, NH (hybrid schedule 3 days/week onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between Business and IT departments to ensure system postings are accurate.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation to streamline operations and minimize errors.
- Develop and enhance reporting to meet business needs.
- Become proficient in Merchants Fleet's internal systems.
- Support annual audit requirements and assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Contribute to special projects as required.
What We're Looking For:
- Tech-Savvy Learner: Quick to grasp new technologies and systems.
- Multi-Tasker: Ability to juggle multiple tasks independently with flexibility and meet deadlines.
- Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communicator: Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organized: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excel Expert: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Power BI is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in public/private accounting or financial systems, with a deep understanding of GAAP. Lessor accounting and experience with Great Plains Dynamics, Blackline, or Planful is a plus.
Education: B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
