About the Role

Turn/River is seeking a Financial Systems Manager to implement, optimize, and manage our portfolio companies' financial technology stack. This role is crucial in integrating financial systems with GTM and operational data, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and driving automation for efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with ERP implementations and financial workflows, excelling at streamlining financial processes through technology.
Key Responsibilities
  • ERP Implementation & Management - Lead implementation and migrate to enterprise financial systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct etc.) to optimize reporting, workflows, and automation.
  • Data & Reporting - Build and maintain financial data pipelines, ensuring accuracy and consistency in expense and headcount tracking.
  • Systems Integration - Connect financial systems with GTM and operational data, enabling seamless data flow across business functions.
  • Automation & Efficiency - Support automation of finance workflows, reducing manual effort and enhancing process scalability.
  • Financial Process Optimization - Ensure systems help improve efficiency in core financial processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Revenue Recognition, and GL Management.
Qualifications
  • ERP Implementation Experience - Proven track record of leading or contributing to ERP implementations (NetSuite, SAP, Workday, or similar).
  • Financial Systems Expertise - Strong experience managing financial systems, integrations, and reporting.
  • Process Knowledge - Deep understanding of financial workflows (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Revenue Recognition).
  • Integration & Automation - Experience with iPaaS tools (Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft) or APIs for system integrations.
  • Preferred - CPA or equivalent financial background though not required.

This is a highly collaborative role within Turn/River, working cross-functionally across finance, operations, and GTM teams to drive financial system excellence for our portfolio companies.
