We are pleased to announce the creation of a Fire Marshal position. Responsible for fire code inspections/compliance, the successful candidate will be part of a team committed to serving the community with pride, dedication, and excellence while never failing to deliver quality emergency life safety services. We are looking for someone with prior experience in fire service and inspections, current certifications in fire inspections and emergency services, and committed to obtaining a state Emergency Manager certification within three years of hire.
This position will plan, coordinate and manage Oakdale community risk reduction activities. The successful applicant conducts fire code and inspections, investigates fires, and reviews building plans.
