A Typical Day

The First Vice President Project Management Corporate Real Estate is responsible for leading and overseeing complex corporate real estate, security, safety and facilities related projects. This pivotal role requires a seasoned leader with exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of the corporate real estate lifecycle, as well as areas that support corporate real estate. This person will have a proven ability to manage and develop high-performing project management work. The ideal candidate will be adept at interacting with and presenting to executive leadership and stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery that aligns with our business objectives.

The First Vice President Project Management Corporate Real Estate will:

  • Provide strategic leadership for assigned corporate real estate project management activities, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Help drive the planning, execution, and closeout of a diverse portfolio of corporate real estate projects, including office build-outs, renovations, relocations, and other facility-related initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate complex project information and recommendations to executive and external stakeholders, tailoring the message to their specific needs and perspectives.
  • Establish and implement best practices, standards, and processes for corporate real estate project management, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all projects.
  • Lead or support project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues, developing proactive solutions to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, IT, and facilities teams, as well as external partners such as architects, contractors, and consultants.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values.


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, with a significant focus on corporate real estate projects.Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively and presenting to executive-level leadership.
  • Preferable experience working directly for or in close collaboration with an architectural firm or a corporate real estate office/department.
  • Strong understanding of the corporate real estate development and management lifecycle.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to travel 25% or more of the time

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
  • Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
  • Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
  • Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role


Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.

Salary

$110,000 - $170,000
