Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, responsible for the District oversight duties. Organize, review District accounting and financial services activities; perform related work as required; establish and revise accounting procedures; conduct accounting analysis, audits of District funds, programs and accounts, and prepare financial statements. Supervise business office staff as appropriate.
The director will assume overall responsibility for planning and organization of the operations and activities for the District's Child Nutrition Program (CNP). The job functions include administering, planning, directing, assessing, implementing, and evaluating the program to meet the nutritional and educational needs of children, as they relate to the CNP. The school nutrition professional shall partner with others in the school district and community to solicit support for the development of a sound nutrition assistance food program while following federal, state, and local guidelines. The CNP is to provide an environment that supports healthy food habits while maintaining program integrity and customer satisfaction. The Director will provide technical expertise to the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services regarding all fiscal operations and state/federal reporting requirements; and supervises assigned food service personnel.
