The Credit Analyst role is a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a high-performing, fast-growing team based in Milwaukee, with a core focus on investment-grade corporate credit research.

As a Credit Analyst, you will:
  • Conduct fundamental credit analysis on existing and prospective investment-grade issuers in assigned sectors, identifying key financial metrics, trends, and risks.
  • Regularly discuss credit insights with the credit sector team, broader investment team, and periodically to clients.
  • Monitor and interpret developments in the overall credit market, contributing to team-wide discussions on market dynamics.
  • Provide relative value analysis across issuers in assigned industries and collaborate with the credit sector team to determine broad relative value opportunities across credit.
  • Work closely with the ABS/MBS and municipal sector teams to identify cross-sector relative value opportunities along the yield curve.
  • Work closely with the portfolio construction team to optimally structure portfolios and manage overall portfolio-level risk relative to the stated benchmark.

What we look for:
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of credit analysis experience.
  • CFA Charterholder and/or MBA preferred with expectation to pursue CFA if not already held.
  • A demonstrated ability to make sound judgements regarding credit, risk, and valuation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to take complex issues and distill them to key points in a persuasive and credible manner.
  • A high level of professionalism is mandatory.
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong team player that is flexible, adaptable and hardworking who believes in an integrated team driven investment process.
  • Series 7 required within a year of start date.
