JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a hands-on highly technical Forecast Analyst with a background in manufacturing or similar high SKU industry. This is an exciting opportunity to significantly influence our business trajectory in a results-driven and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will proactively bring fresh, disruptive ideas to streamline and enhance existing processes.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
  • Apply data analysis and statistical techniques to forecast future manufacturing requirements, considering factors such as seasonality, trends, and production capacity.
  • Optimize global forecast accuracy while working closely with the manufacturing, supply chain team, and sales to understand and predict the impact of changes in demand as it relates to manufacturing and total inventory costs.
  • Harness innovation and creativity for process enhancement, and to proactively identify and implement novel solutions, fostering an environment of continual improvement and growth.
  • Utilize best in class tools such as Python and R to manipulate, analyze, and interpret large data sets relevant to our forecasting processes including customer POS, weather, and other external and internal data.
  • Make use of SQL databases for storing forecasting and historical data and write queries to extract relevant data for analysis.
  • Merge disparate data sources with a strong attention to detail, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Provide detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders on forecasted trends and their potential impact on the company using internal and external data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve forecasting accuracy, methodologies, and systems.
  • Proactively identify and investigate data patterns or issues that may not be immediately obvious, driving actionable business insights.


  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor's degree in business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Between one to three years of experience in a similar forecasting or data analysis role is necessary, preferably in manufacturing or similar high SKU industry.
  • One to three years' experience with forecasting software and common forecasting algorithms such as ARIMA, Exponential Smoothing, and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities with proficiency in interacting and communicating effectively across diverse cultures and countries.
  • Experience with programming languages used in data analysis, such as Python, R & SQL
  • Exposure to AI and Machine Learning methods, such as neural networks, decision trees, and regression models.
  • Accuracy and a keen eye for detail are required, particularly when merging disparate data sources to ensure data integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, including the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.


  • PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in advanced statistical techniques including but not limited to time series analysis, multivariate analysis, and predictive modeling.
  • Competence in data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Understanding the unique challenges and requirements of high part count manufacturing, including bill of materials.
  • Practical experience with ERP systems, especially those related to manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, specifically Azure.
  • Prior exposure to supply chain optimization and inventory management principles.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing complex forecasting models in a manufacturing environment.
  • Multi-lingual - Spanish, German, or Hebrew
