At Mandolin, we're building the "last mile" delivery infrastructure to accelerate this unbounded future of cutting-edge drugs - cell/gene therapies and biologics for Alzheimer's, cancer, schizophrenia, genetic disorders, amongst many others. Reasoning-adept LLMs uniquely unlock the opportunity to bridge this market gap. We're starting with an "AI knowledge worker" for clinics administering these drugs, and then partnering with health insurers and pharma companies to bring drug breakthroughs to market at scale.

Ultimately, our mission is to substantially extend healthy human lifespans by minimizing the time it takes to bring life-changing drugs to patients.

We've raised substantial institutional funding from the best healthcare AI investors like SignalFire, Maverick, and ex-Thrive GP Gaurav Ahuja (including first institutional checks into rocketships like Hims&Hers, Ro, Grow Therapy, Cityblock, and Devoted Health).

Mandolin was founded by Will Yin and Rohit Rustagi - Stanford dropouts and second-time exited founders - alongside teammates from Google, Stanford, Genentech, and others.

What you'll work on

As the Founding Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving Mandolin's growth by closing key partnerships with healthcare organizations. You'll be responsible for the full sales cycle-from prospecting to deal execution-while also shaping our sales strategy, refining our go-to-market approach, and helping establish our early customer base. This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground floor of a fast-growing startup, where your work will directly impact our trajectory.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Identify and engage prospective healthcare customers, understand their needs, and articulate how Mandolin's solutions create value.
  • Develop and refine our sales strategies, messaging, and processes to accelerate pipeline growth and conversion.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring successful onboarding and long-term success.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success to align sales efforts with product development and market needs.
  • Experiment with different sales approaches, pricing models, and market segments to refine Mandolin's go-to-market strategy.


Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in healthcare, health tech, or enterprise software.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with a knack for simplifying technical concepts.
  • A scrappy, entrepreneurial mindset-comfortable with ambiguity, experimentation, and iteration.
  • Experience selling to healthcare organizations, providers, or payers is a strong plus.
