As the FPA Manager (Pricing), you will manage the workflow across the pricing team and ensure the development of pricing and financial analyses for all customer RFPs is completed in a timely and accurate manner. **This role will be hybrid in High Point, NC; Charlotte, NC; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Chicago, IL; or Atlanta, GA**

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Handle a team of financial analysts, preparing analyses to determine pricing and financial summaries for new business opportunities, contract renewals, and re-pricing requirements for current clients.
  • Prepare cost accounting analysis, capital recovery, and wage increase analysis, real estate analysis, pricing bridges (proposed vs existing) on new and existing accounts for senior management.
  • Present pricing recommendations to senior level decision makers for key accounts to return them to profitability.
  • Assist in preparing pricing proposal deliverables to submit to current and prospective clients.
  • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate team.
  • Develop team through coaching, mentoring, and driving accountability.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of pricing models; update the models with recent financial and productivity metrics, and ensure the model formulas are error free.
  • Provide leadership to manage the administrative reporting and data collection within the Pricing department.
  • Develop and implement improvements and new processes related to pricing models, pricing proposals, and team workflows.
  • Energize efficiencies within processes to improve accuracy of data and throughput for the function, including continuous improvement initiatives and automation to eliminate human error.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent related work or military experience.
  • 5 years of cost accounting, finance, supply chain, or other related experience.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.

It'd be great if you also have:
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of various functional areas including operations, marketing, sales, pricing, project management, human resources, and IT.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience.
