What We Need:
Obagi is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and seasoned FP&A professional to join our small but mighty Finance team! Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this personal will help lead P&L forecasting and budgeting across all departments and play a crucial role in data analysis, data integrity, and streamline reporting processes.

What We Need:
Obagi is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and seasoned FP&A professional to join our small but mighty Finance team! Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this personal will help lead P&L forecasting and budgeting across all departments and play a crucial role in data analysis, data integrity, and streamline reporting processes.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with department leaders in developing bottoms-up annual financial plans, quarterly reforecasting, and long-term financial forecasting.
- Build and maintain department specific financial models to track and analyze relevant KPIs that drive business performance.
- Analyze channel specific financials to assess profits and margins; provide insights that drive better decisions and support defined strategic initiatives.
- Utilize internal ERP system to ensure accurate and timely data extraction and reporting.
- Develop, monitor, and communicate KPIs for each channel across each function.
- Track and analyze sales performance, gross margin, inventory turnover, and customer acquisition costs.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis in support of special projects and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with preparations for various financial reporting presentations for Executive Leadership and other relevant stakeholders including but not limited to monthly and quarterly business performance reviews, gross margin analysis, operating expenses, sales forecasts, variance drivers, growth initiatives, long-range planning, etc.
What You'll Need:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; a focus in Finance, Accounting, and/or economics highly preferred.
- At least 4-6+ years of hands-on finance experience demonstrating a solid foundation in data analysis, strategic planning, and ability to interpret and consolidate data.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization/time management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage responsibilities across multiple customers simultaneously.
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; someone who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a heavy emphasis on mastery of Excel, showcasing the ability to manipulate data effectively and derive valuable insights; other technologies such as ERP systems, prior experience with Oracle a huge plus; an excel guru who has experience building complicated financial models from scratch.
- Finance system integration experience a plus.
- An energetic, positive attitude that encourages a team and builds/maintains robust relationships.
