About the Role

The FP&A Manager will oversee financial planning and analysis efforts at Milrose, with a focus on budget-to-actual variances, headcount management, and strategic projects. Reporting to the VP of FP&A & BI, this role is a key partner to business units across the organization and helps ensure effective resource allocation and decision-making support.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Perform monthly close activities and variance analysis
  • Present actionable financial insights to department and executive leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial deliverables
  • Build tools and dashboards to improve financial visibility and performance tracking
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes


What You'll Bring

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of FP&A or related financial experience
  • Exceptional Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, must be detail oriented
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment


Preferred:
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, PowerPivot
  • Familiarity with Salesforce/FinancialForce or other ERP systems
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a collaborative mindset

Work Environment & Schedule
  • Standard office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • REMOTE. Candidates located in the NY/NJ/CT area may be asked to work in a hybrid capacity.
  • Occasional travel to client sites or municipal agencies may be required


Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $120K - $150K/yr, based on knowledge, skills, and experience
