Front-End Software Developer

SynchroGrid Inc. is actively seeking a Front-End Software Developer. We are an Aggie owned and operated consulting company based in Bryan, Texas with expertise developing industry-leading automation software currently serving the electrical power industry. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of developing both pre-existing products, and a new project mixing a modern React.JS-based front-end with a C++ back-end. Responsibilities

• Apply web technologies to build desktop applications (e.g., via Electron).
  Integrate and extend UI/UX elements with back-end simulation code.
  Write unit and integration tests for new and existing features.
  Pitch in wherever needed to deliver an amazing product.
• Write JavaScript sprinkled with C++ interactions.
  Participate in code design and reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with React.JS for web application development is strongly preferred.
  Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks and front-end GUI development (HTML, CSS, similar tech).
  Experience with using Electron to build web stack-based applications is greatly advantageous.
  Solid understanding of Computer Science principles, including data structures and algorithms.
  Ability to collaborate well in a team environment working with constructive feedback.
• Experience with development tools like Git and Doxygen.
  Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
• Portfolios of previous work are highly regarded.
• Excitement to learn new technologies.
