Position Description:
The Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences is inviting applications for a full-time Professor in the specialty of Craniofacial Development and Care. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be didactic and teach undergraduate and graduate courses; conduct research in field of study; advise undergraduate and graduate students; attend faculty meetings; act as journal referee; attend Ph.D. thesis defense; organize academic conferences and departmental seminars; maintain office hours; participate in academic and professional committees and activities, both within and outside the University; participate in recruiting.

Applicants must have a D.M.D. or D.D.S. or equivalent from an accredited school. Applicants must be licensed or be eligible to be licensed by the Ordre des dentistes du Quebec.

Job Duties:
- Primary academic duties consist of teaching at undergraduate and graduate programs, research, and supervision of graduate students at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences,
- Participate in clinical undergraduate as well as graduate student supervision, classroom instruction within the guidelines of McGill and the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences.
- Develop a teaching program and maintain a teaching dossier that includes student evaluations. Classroom teaching should be relevant to your research work and should be part of the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences courses
- Maintain a successful scholarly career as evidenced by publications, presentations, and success in obtaining external funding and supervision of graduate students at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences
- Service contributions to the Faculty and University and scholarly communities
