Nexthreat is actively seeking a talented and dedicated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our innovative team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in securing our clients' information systems and networks against evolving cyber threats. The successful candidate will be responsible for the integration of information security controls and overall information security awareness across all departments and units.

Responsibilities:

- Provide on-site functional and technical intelligence support including the collection, analysis, and production of all-source intelligence pertaining to foreign national Cyber capabilities and foreign use of the Cyberspace Domain

- Analyse international engagement on global cyberspace governance and report on technology, global proliferation and dominance of cyberspace technology and capabilities, emerging cyberspace technology and capabilities, foreign threats to DoD cyberspace operations, supply chains, and technology transfer, and foreign cyber-enabled electronic warfare and information operations

- Assess foreign cyberspace capabilities vulnerabilities, identify critical cyberspace infrastructure, and key resources, and perform nodal analysis

- Identifying critical foreign network activities that, if disrupted, cannot be readily replaced by other means at their disposal

- Analysing the cyber means, methods, and access employed by state and non-state actors in support of their critical functions of logistics, leadership, weapons, logistics, finance, recruitment, propaganda, etc.

- Analysing the full range of foreign cyber capabilities to include strategy, doctrine, and intent for cyber operations and capabilities to include cyber tools (e.g., remote, air-gap, botnets, intrusion detection, etc.) and access methods (e.g., on-site access, remote access, insider access, supply chain access, etc.) employed

- Analysing the ability of foreign governments to identify, track, and disrupt state and non-state actor Internet activities within the borders of the nation-state

- Identifying the operating location of the units and their primary internet access point or means

Requirements:

- Demonstrate comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirm completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category

- Demonstrate ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced Demonstrate ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines

- Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction

- Demonstrate ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution Demonstrate ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence

- Demonstrate ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems

- Provide guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies. Uses argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives

Education:

- At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years

- Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education

- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and frameworks

- Familiarity with security tools and technologies for monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and incident response

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous
