WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance cloud-based applications using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
- Build and optimize native iOS and Android apps using the React framework.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to define, design, and deploy new features.
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
- Resolve issues and improve functionality based on user feedback.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in open-source applications.
YOUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in LAMP and/or React development.
- Experience in working with open-source projects and communities.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining large-scale business platforms.
- Ability to work independently and contribute in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to clean code.
- Solid communication and collaboration abilities.
TECHNICAL COMPENTENCIES
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiar with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and MVC frameworks.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Hands-on experience with CakePHP and React.
- Proficient in Git version control and collaborative repo workflows.
- Experienced in Agile development (sprint planning, iterative releases).
- Working knowledge of the AWS suite (EC2, S3, etc.).
