FULL STACK WEB SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Job Description:

As part of the Digital Experience Software Development Team, you will will apply expertise in full stack web and eCommerce app development to Airstream.com, AirstreamSupplyCompany.com and our internal Dealer web app platforms. The ideal candidate must have strong software design skills, web front- and back-end app development skills, and team leadership.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Partner with the Digital Product team, Airstream software engineering and third-party partner teams to design and develop web apps focused on Airstream Customer lead generation, shopping, and lifestyle platform development.
Interface with Product Owners and partners to collect and clarify requirements. Track requirements through design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, validation, and release phases
Be creative in developing software with focus in reusability, simplicity, security, and adherence to established standard coding guidelines.
Integrate front-end web and mobile application UI with a suite of back-end microservice APIs.
Work with outside technology, data sources, SDKs, and APIs.
Assist in maintaining project schedules and prioritize tasks with DX, Marketing, IT, and third-party agency and technology providers.
Participate in improvement of personal, departmental, and technological capabilities.
Support product builds, launches and investigation of issues.
  • Interface with internal groups such as Marketing, Sales, IT, Product, QA, UX, and external groups such as third-party agency and technology suppliers.
  • Assist the team in creating root cause analysis through different techniques.
  • Be motivated and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Qualifications & Requirements:
BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Marketing and Interactive Technologies. Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience web, ecommerce, or mobile software development.
Knowledgeable in aspects of the software development lifecycles, including application development, application structure, device and operation system API, debugging, performance, security, and deployment
Proficient with modern web technologies such as JavaScript 6/7, CSS3 and HTML5.
Experience with packaged Content and eCommerce platforms (i.e. WordPress, Storyblok, Shopify, etc.)
Understanding of lo- and no-code approaches and platforms (i.e. Make, Zapier, Power Apps, etc.)
Familiar with microservice based cloud architectures, specifically AWS and Azure using Kubernetes.
Experience with RDBMS databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Experience using version control tools, such as Git and Bitbucket.
Experience in RV, Automotive, Adventure Sports, Marine, or Travel industries a plus
