They have a joyful one-year-old child and are expecting another baby in April 2025. The family is seeking a nanny who will bring great energy, enthusiasm, and a love for children to their home. What You'll Do:

• Nurturing Care:
• Provide kind and attentive care to the family's adorable 1-year-old and their soon-to-arrive newborn.
• Handle all aspects of the children's daily routines: from feeding and changing to bathing and helping with potty training as they grow.
• Create a fun and loving atmosphere where the children can learn and thrive.
• Engaging Activities:
• Plan and implement developmental activities that spark joy and learning-think storytime, nursery rhymes, indoor and outdoor play!
• Take the children to parks, classes, playdates, and fun outings, making the most of the vibrant city life in NYC.
• Household Support:
• Pitch in with light housekeeping tasks, such as organizing the children's spaces, laundry, and light meal prep.
• Be ready to lend a hand when needed, whether it's prepping a healthy snack or coordinating with the family's current nanny.
• Travel & Adventure:
• Join the family on their exciting trips, both domestic and international, several times a year.
• Be comfortable with overnights, especially when traveling between their NYC and Connecticut homes.
• Team Spirit:
• Work in harmony with the family's current nanny to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
• Be the type of person who loves being part of a team, ready to jump in with a positive attitude and a helping hand wherever needed.

What They're Looking For:

• Someone with great energy and a gentle touch who loves engaging with young children and watching them grow.
• Prior experience with infants, toddlers, and multiple children is important.
• Flexibility is key-this family's schedule may require weekend and evening shifts, and overnights at their second home . They need a nanny who's happy to go with the flow.
• You'll need to be comfortable traveling both within the U.S. and internationally.
• The family has a medium-sized, friendly dog, so you'll need to be comfortable with pets.
• They'd love for you to be CPR-certified and open to necessary screenings and immunizations.
• This is a long-term role, so they seek someone who wants to grow with the family.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $35/hour (gross pay) + Overtime after 40 hours in a week.
• Benefits: Medical insurance stipend, 401k retirement plan (eligible after 3 months).
• Paid Time Off: 10 paid vacation/personal days , 5 paid sick days, and paid public holidays.
• Additional Perks: You'll be paid for all 52 weeks of the year, even during family vacations when your services aren't needed.

Schedule:

• 5-6 days per week, including 1-2 weekend days.
• 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (with flexibility for occasional late nights).
• May be open to a rotational nanny for the right person. Please only apply if you are open and fully flexible.
